Boston Health has guidelines for treating injuries that are appropriate for the stage of injury. This will help reduce pain, increase quality of life, and promote joint and muscle recovery. This allows clients to return to their daily lives.

You will initially be assessed and treated by our medical doctor. For example, if the client has an abrasion and pain, the doctor will treat the wound by cleaning the wound and giving painkillers and other medicines according to symptoms.

If the patient has fractures or a dislocated shoulder, this may require surgery. The clinic will coordinate and refer the client for the most appropriate treatment. We have an orthopedic surgeon on staff at our acute injuries clinic in Chiang Mai.

In cases of clients having chronic symptoms from playing sports, the doctor will perform a physical assessment first. You may be referred to a physical therapist who will help with physical therapy methods, techniques, and tools.

Treatment for sports injury is divided into several stages, such as acute treatment. If the symptoms are not severe, the cost of care is not expensive. This will mainly be the cost of treating the wound and reducing pain with medicine.

If the symptoms are severe or chronic, the price may be higher. This depends on medical acute injury treatments such as surgery or physical therapy.

First aid is the most immediate treatment required for acute injury. After first aid, an assessment should be performed to determine how severe the injury is. It is difficult for the patient to assess just how severe the injury is. Knee injuries, such as a torn ACL, are notorious for not appearing serious but later turning into significant problems.
